Skipper creates easy access for domestic travel in The Bahamas through the maritime community.

With inter-island travel in the Bahamas being expensive and in some cases inaccessible, we have created a digital platform that facilitates accessible communication and service between passengers and vessels.

Crafts with available space will be able to provide passengers with fun and affordable access to the Bahamian Out Islands.

Skipper is a team formed by Mark Hoffer, Ashleigh Rolle, Aaron Basset and Yeqian Zhao.

We source the highest quality, freshest produce from local farmers and deliver it direct to homes and offices in a neatly packed box!

Island Roots is a company started by Emey Robinson, Allison Barkley, Gracie Lee Stemmer, Nicole Dominguez and Chelsea Palmer!

Pop-Up Party provides on-demand delivery and planning services. Formulated by Keith Miller with his teammates Nicolas P. Haan and William A. Godet, their mission is to provide a perfect party promptly. Their vision is to make every party as seamless as possible and take away the problems of not being properly prepared to party.

More to come!

Three souls came together with one mission…To win! After much discussion, brainstorming and collaboration we discovered that the one thing the world needs more of is giving.

So, we are now the Give to Get team, “providing goods for the greater good.” A team of three comprised of Andre Moncur, Beijing Rodgers and Julie Good.

Our team has a dynamic mix of personalities. Julie has a caring spirit and a deep passion to empower others. Beijing, has a small build but is a giant of a leader, who takes the initiative to provide cohesiveness to the brainstorming for how the business will unfold. Andre, despite being the creative behind the idea, has made both Julie and Beijing feel as though their contribution to the development of the idea is just as important as his. Together, we all bring a variety of skills that can be beneficial in the execution of such a unique business as Give to Get!

Built in Addison Maine, “Beacon Won” a 70ft schooner captained by Capt. Bruce Dunham will transport the Starter Island participants through the Exuma Cays. Beacon Won was built specifically to accommodate large groups seeking to experience life at sea for a week. From her bow to her stern she has been customized to transport groups comfortably. Although 70 ft long, and 21 ft wide, she only has an eight foot draft that allows her to navigate the shallow waters surrounding the beautiful Exuma Cays.

“Beacon Won” provides for the first time in the history of the Bahamas the perfect platform to host this excursion. Her size, and experienced crew make for a perfect fit with the vision that is Starter Island. Participants may look forward to home cooked meals from her full scale industrial galley, comfortable air conditioned beds, ample deck space to move around, fully functioning bathrooms, large sun deck for collaboration while tanning, and last but not the least, a shaded patio affectionally referred to as the “cigar lounge”. A small 15ft skiff accompanies Beacon to assist in moving guests to and from the beach, snorkeling, fishing, diving, and docking. All in all, “Beacon Won” was made for this!
